We feel that the content and data available on the internet has just scratched the surface of what is possible. River Brain is attempting to bring the next generation of data and content to the public. This is possible thanks to information already in the public domain, such as Wikipedia, Forums, Blogs, and Picture galleries. However, we feel that the public as a collective contains far more knowledge than a few sites. This site is to bring the "Collective Brain" together. Someone may have top notch information on the Salmon River while someone else may have floated the Grand Canyon 80 times. This site is an open platform for all to contribute to this untapped information.
