This is one of the biggest rapids on the upper stretches of the Salmon.  The river narrows on this straight away and creates some nice drops.  At high flows this rapid is a solid IV.  Lower flows take some of the bite out of its bark.  Recommend scouting to pick your line.

You can scout and portage (if you like) easily on river left where the highway is.
