A very scenic 14 mile run near Yellowstone National Park's southwest corner. Keep an eye out for bears and bald eagles. Also be alert for wood and tree hazards.
Be sure to visit Cave Falls at the end of the Road since you are in the area. This is in Yellowstone National Park so "technically" no boating is allowed there.
There are a couple of diversion dams so scout them and then portage or run. Also rafts could hit this run at flows of 2000 CFS or higher. Portaging a raft at sheep falls would not be fun, it is doable.
This run is a III to III+ with the exception of Sheep Falls which is in the IV - V range. Sheep Falls is a recommended portage! Be aware
