A great scenic run on the North Slopes of the Uintah mountains. The Uintah's are unique in that the range runs from east to west. The biggest hazards on this section of the Blacks Fork are logs and wood hazards. If you are looking for a scenic, mellow run this run and the East Fork of the Blacks Fork should be high on your todo list. Running a mountain stream gives you a perspective of the mountains that are hard to get any other way.
The full run is 9 miles but you will need a 4x4 to get all the way to the top put-in. Otherwise you can put-in at the turn off to the Lyman Lakes for about a 4 mile run. The turn off to the lakes most cars can make it to.
