Clear Creek - Clear Creek

From the confluence of Fish Creek down for a little over 2 miles is the best section of Clear Creek for boating.  Clear creek road follows this entire section from I-70 so you can pick and choose how much of this creek you want to run.

The creek is small and rocky and runs quickly at higher water.  Since the creek is shallow don't be looking to roll easily in this river.  Have a good brace and be prepared for class I to class III conditions.  If you do swim it could be bumpy but the creek is small enough that you could at least get to the bank without having to get flushed down to I-70.

While you are in the area you should stop at the Fremont Indian State Park just off of I-70.
