Compared to the other whitewater parks in Colorado this one isn't in the same league. However, if there is good water flows (which doesn't happen too often) you can get some mini-river running in. This "park" consists of about 10 features, none of which surf at any flow (50cfs - 400cfs).
This park does offer excellent training for first time or early beginner paddlers. At 100cfs and up if offers class III feel with pushy eddies and fun slides and pour overs, with class II- consequences. A good warm up for area first timers before lower Ten Mile, Silverthorne Town Run, or Lower Blue.
For anyone above beginner, run down to CMC on Airport road and hit the fish ladders visible from Hwy 9 N of Breck. Fun at flows north of 200cfs.
