Class II+ to III run near Golden. Good for beginners at most flows as long as you put in downstream of tunnel 1. At higher flows it can be a solid class III run.
If you put in just upstream of tunnel 1, this adds 2 class III drops.
1/3 of a mile from the put in take the right channel, left channel is unrunable. Stay clear of large cottonwood tree on river right. (Edit: cottonwood tree is no longer an issue, it is gone. There is a small pine tree river right that is easily avoided on river left.)
Put in: Pullout on the east side of tunnel 1
Take out: Golden Whitewater Park
