Located either side of "Bob the Bridge" on Avon Rd in Avon, CO, the Avon Whitewater Park has 3 features called Bob, Bob Sr. and Bob Jr. Parking is best in the Beaver Creek Parking lot just south west of the bridge. Walk down the dirt ramp across the street. Generally this park doesn't see much traffic outside of locals as ultimaltey, it isn't that great unless coupled with a run from Dowd Chute or Upper Eagle.
Bob Sr, the most downstream feature works best at high water of 3k+. It tends to surge and eddy access can be tough at the required flows.
Bob Wave is best at middle flows and is generally a rough hole with good eddy service.
Bob Jr, upstream of the bridge, functions best at lower flows of 1k or less and is probably the best overall feature when flows are right. Good eddy service on both sides and a steep friendly hole gives up cartwheel and loop based moves.
