Weber River - Riverdale Wave

To get to the wave take the Riverdale exit just south of Ogden and turn east toward the mountains. Navigate down the hill through the gridlock of Riverdale traffic until the final light before the road turns north and goes up over the river and the rail yard. This street is 7th West. Go one block and take your first right onto Weber River Drive, which will curve around through the trailer park and dead end next to the river. Put in on the boat ramp at the end of the street and float downstream a few hundred yards to the waves. A bike trail follows the river on river left the whole way and makes for an easy hike back to the car.

This is a powerful lateral wave at high flows.  The 2nd wave has better surfing and playing.

Around 1100 CFS and higher this wave is where you want to be for surf and play.  Beginners be careful on the riverdale waves at high water.  These waves can get pretty big.
